Wallace-Helm Studio is the space and object-focused personal practice of architectural designer and artist Kate Wallace-Helm. Holding minimalism as inspiration, intentionality as ethos, and cohesiveness and functionality as her main design principles, Kate’s resulting work is clean, unpretentious, and elevates the experience of its users. Drawing on her 15 years of experience in art and architecture, her design employs proven and natural materials, a pared-back palette, natural light, and intuition. She is committed to creating balanced, functional spaces that can be lived in, worked in, and used to build community. Educated and trained as an architect, Kate is currently pursuing licensure.
At Wallace-Helm Studio, she also explores multidisciplinary work including furniture design, wood working, rendering large-scale art installations, and curation. Kate was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where her practice is based.
